Sites
SSH/SFTP
Each site has its own Linux user. Use it to upload files with SFTP or work in a shell.
| Host | your server's IP or domain |
| Port | The server's SSH port (22 by default) |
| User | the site user, e.g. example |
| Files | /home/<user>/htdocs/<domain> |
Any SFTP client works: FileZilla, Cyberduck, WinSCP, Transmit, or the sftp/scp/rsync commands.
Password
The password is shown once when the site is created. To change it, open Settings → SSH/SFTP → New password. The new password is shown once; the old one stops working immediately.
SSH keys
Paste one or more public keys (one per line) and click Save keys. This replaces ~/.ssh/authorized_keys for the site user. Accepted key types: ssh-ed25519, ssh-rsa, ecdsa-sha2-* and security keys (sk-*).
Isolation
Site users cannot read other sites' files: home directories are 750 (0711 on /home) and only nginx (www-data) is added to each site's group.
