Operating system

Use a fresh server with one of these releases:

Distribution	Versions
Ubuntu	22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS (26.04 follows once the PHP package repository supports it)
Debian	12 (Bookworm), 13 (Trixie)

Both x86_64 and ARM64 (for example AWS Graviton, Hetzner CAX, Oracle Ampere) are supported.

Install on a clean server. The installer reconfigures nginx, PHP-FPM, the database server and the firewall, and it will stop if it finds an existing web server.

Network

• A public IPv4 address (IPv6 is optional).
• Inbound ports 22 (SSH), 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), 8443 (panel) and 2083 (phpMyAdmin and web terminal). If your provider has a cloud firewall, open them there too.
• DNS A/AAAA records pointing your domains to the server before you request Let's Encrypt certificates.
